Speciality Instructor

Continuing Education is not only paramount for creating safe, active SSI divers, it is also essential to your long-term success as an instructor. Continuing your diving education is not just for your divers, but for you as well.

Check out how to qualify as a Specialty Instructor and teach everything from SSI Deep Diving to SSI Photo & Video.

What you can expect to learn

Becoming an SSI Specialty Instructor is easy. Continue your diving education as an instructor by enrolling in a Specialty Instructor Seminar for each of the diving specialties you would like to teach.

Alternatively, you can co-teach the specialty you are interested in with an experienced Specialty Instructor or request a Verification Application of your experience and send it directly to SSI.

Teach more specialties to automatically earn the Advanced Open Water Instructor certification.
