React Right Update Procedure

The initial React Right certification is valid for two years from the certification date. By participating in the React Right Update, students can extend their certification for an additional two years.

Students with CPR, First Aid, AED, and/or Oxygen Provider certifications from another agency can participate in a React Right Update program and receive an equivalent React Right certification.

Course equipment requirements

React Right students must train using current and appropriate first aid and CPR, oxygen administration and AED equipment.

Course prerequisites

  • Have an SSI React Right certification or equivalent certification from a recognized training agency.
  • Have access to the React Right digital learning.

Get started

  • The update must be at least two (2) hours long, and must include at least one (1) complete skill circuit for each applicable certification as outlined in the instructor manual for React Right.
  • Complete a final exam for each applicable certification with a passing score of at least 80%.
